Launching a website calls for a celebration, and I did just that! Last Wednesday, not only did my website that you’re currently browsing go live, but I also had a dinner party for the launch of it.
The dinner took place at my new favorite restaurant Adoro Lei in Tribeca (address listed below). The ambience of this place is just incredible! As soon as you walk in the restaurant you automatically feel a sense of warmth. Dim lighting, the smell of the delicious pizza blaring from the wood burning oven, and beautiful custom paintings that hang like ornaments in frames against the brick walls is just a glimpse of what the restaurant has to offer. Oh, and I can’t forget the music playing in the background definitely pulls it all together. I mean after all who doesn’t want to have a good meal and diddy bop at the same time! I can go on and on about how great of a place this place is to dine + lounge, from the outlets to charge your phone at the bar, to the fact that you can drink champagne and eat pizza simultaneously, but I’d like for you to go experience this for yourself. My words just won’t suffice.

My dinner launch took place in the private room downstairs below the restaurant. When I ran downstairs I was in a rush, because it was 30 minutes before guest were scheduled to arrive, and I didn’t have my make- up done. However, when i walked into the room where the dinner would be taking place I was estatic. Both Michelle (my manager) and Michael (co-founder of the restaurant) rearranged the room to accommodate all thirty attendees and added the signature ‘Brittany Sky’ touch. Everyone had table cards with their names on them directing them to where they were seated for the evening, and their were adorable floral arrangements pieced together by Michelle at every table. Oh, and for the final touch there were double sided post cards with the invite I sent to each guest, and on the other side of the card were a list of special signature cocktails you could order. The homepage of my website was also displayed in the background behind the bartenders which made for the cutest touch!
Aside from the food being nothing short of amazing, I have to say my favorite part about the whole dinner were the people who filled the room. There was just so much love and support all at once, and just to think these people were all present for little ol’ me. It meant a lot to me considering I rarely get to most of them often, but to know that I had them in my corner meant the most. Some of these people I had the opportunity to recently work with, some I have worked with in the past, and some were just genuinely good friends who have been around to support me during some pivotal moments in my career.
Overall, my website launch was an overall success and i’m grateful to those that came out!
