How did you get started at BrittanySky.com?
I had the opportunity to interview Brittany for Missbish.com in March. I decided to stay in touch with Brittany’s manager and she told me about the platform, which really peaked my interest. Due to the go-getter mentality I’ve developed, I pitched myself to be a part of the team and now I’m here!
What is your “day time” job?
I work as a video content strategist at AOL/Verizon.
What’s one thing that surprised you in your path up until now?
There have been MANY surprises in this journey of mine haha, but the one that sticks out the most would be my resilience. I took a big risk moving to New York with pretty much nothing to my name and during those struggle times, it was hard seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. If it wasn’t for my support system and my positive outlook in life, I don’t think I’d be where I am at today.
What’s one piece of advice you have for someone who has no clue what they want to do?
Focus on what you’re good at and what you love. Once you figure that out, take that to another level; take risks, step out of your comfort zone, and most importantly, stay true to yourself throughout the process.
What activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
I enjoy reading, going to concerts, teaching myself how to DJ, catching up on Netflix shows, trying different foods, traveling, planning out the next 5-10 years of my life lol, going to museums.
