When it’s really hot outside I don’t really like to wear much makeup. However, there are times when I just have to “BEAT MY FACE”. When those times occur, I don’t want to have to worry about all my hard work going to waste. I want my makeup to last as long as possible without melting off so I wear mattifying primers to help combat this annoying problem.

Before I get into my favorite primers I want to make sure that you know what the purpose of a primer is.  A primer is a base or protective barrier for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. Formulas are available in cream, gel and powder.Listed below are a few primers that I can’t live without during the summer months.
