Last week i was invited to the Sam Rodriguez x Puma sneaker launch party at Extra Butter in NYC. The party just so happened to take place just one day before Cinco De Mayo, which means the tequila was flowing all throughout the function.

Excited kids formed a line down Orchard Street hoping they would gain entry into the jam-packed event hosted by 1800 Tequila.  I was lucky enough to gain entry and walk away with a pair of the very limited sneakers. My point of contact from Hypebeast informed me that they weren’t going to be released to the public, which means the come up was real! In fact, you can come up off a pair of the funky Puma Clydes too by texting”1800″ to “55755”. Rumor has it only 1000 pairs were made.

 Overall, the party was a vibe; i even brought my mom (not pictured).
