DJing Complex Con was a huge moment for me. I was fortunate enough to play the arena stage- opening up for Migos, 2Chainz and Snoop Dogg at the very first Complex Con which was an amazing weekend, altogether! I was as nervous as I was excited knowing I’d have to get up there in front of THOUSANDS of people and get on the mic but when that moment arrived, a sense of calm washed over me. This show represented a critical moment for me. Putting on my own show gave me a great sense of pride and reassurance in what I’m doing. I questioned myself a lot in the moments leading up to this show and that’s been a decidedly heavy theme in my life, as of late but this weekend was about me in all the best ways possible. I spoke with bass in my voice, confidence and authority, I dropped bangers, and I had fun! Sunday was about proving myself to me and I did that!
I’m thankful that I got to share this moment with the people who’ve been with me throughout this journey as well as with the important people who have recently come into my life. Having their support was everything to me! A HUGE thank you to everyone who reached out and gave me props- it meant so damn much to me! Special thanks to DJ OshKosh & v_live for helping turn that arena up! Thank you to B-Wade Creations for bodying my graphics ! Thank you Samuel for capturing the moment. Thank you to Kamayiah and Key for holding me down as friends and performing last minute and lastly, thank you Michelle for believing in me and harassing everyone in that building to make sure my performance was perfect. Shout out to Complex, thank you for the opportunity! Love 🙌🏾 #SkyIsTheLimit
