“Perfection is Overrated “. That message spoke volumes to me today during the #SelfxAdidas workout earlier this morning. Maybe i’ll elaborate in another post why it hold so much value, but for now let me tell you a little a bit about my experience DJ’ing for a beautuiful group of women who all showed up and showed out this morning.

A car picked me up around 7:30AM and dropped me to the Adidas store on Broadway in Soho. I was greeted by my contact Brianna who i must say took great care of me. I did a quick sound check and then the body party began. Liz from Self did the honors of introducing Lindsey Clayton who led the the workout. I have to admit it, it looked intense and i was jealous i couldn’t workout with the group, but i did take note of some of the workouts so that i could do them on my own.

I have to also mention they had a braid bar, with to hair stylist giving braids after the workout. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough the beauty brand Glossier was also on site giving the girls pampering after their workout. In all honesty the workout was awesome, and i was happy they invited me to be apart of it! My favorite part was the message.
