‘A Good Night In The Ghetto’? Yeah, it was just that this past Sunday for me in the bay! I had only been to the Bay one other time prior to this, and it just for a day. This whole summer, i talked about going back and experiencing it the right way, and i did just that thanks to my girl Kamaiyah!

This past Sunday was more than special for Kamaiyah and the people from her neighborhood ,because she was shooting the video for ‘F*ck It Up’ off of her latest project (A Good Night In The Ghetto). The song features 400 Label President and rapper YG himself, and of course he was on site for the special day. All i can say is these two together caused a frenzy! There was a scene of the video that they shot in an old school red impala and the fans went crazy! The fans were literally dipping in in out of traffic chasing the car that Kamaiyah and YG were in  throughout the neighborhood. There were women climbing through the windows of their cars while the vehicles were pretty much racing to keep up so that might get a chance to see themselves in the video. I was really on edge, but it was fun to see how much the hood rides for Kamaiyah!

I’m not really a photographer, but photography was my first love! Check out some of the shots i captured from the shoot. Maybe i’ll start getting trigger (camera happy) again ;)!
