When i was asked if i was willing to speak on a panel in Las Vegas, i was somewhat skeptical. Well for one, i have never spoken on a panel before, and two i was extremely jet lagged from my previous travels. But after thinking long and hard about it, i said f- it, I’m going for it! Lately, i’ve been trying to do things that scare me and i have to admit i haven’t had many regrets.

Two women by the name of Lin Jerome and Alexandra Lourdes from The Refined Agency reached out about having me participate as a speaker. I was joined by three other women who were truly inspiring. Jennifer Worman (blogger + founder of  T&J Designs), Tiffany Ishiguro(blogger +founds of T&J Designs), and Jamie Vine ( Founder of Boycott Circus- A website that raises funds and creates awareness for rescued felines in Mexico). These women all shared their story of how they got started, some business tips, along with some answers to some questions the members in the audience had. I myself learned that i should communicate with you guys more via email, so thats something i will be working at soon.

Overall i was really impressed by the event Lin and Alexandra produced. They had Sephora, Masareti, and Peroni on board as sponsors for the event. They even had local vendors present selling their pieces. After our speaking engagement they had an awesome pool party for us in the private area of the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa. It was a trip i don’t regret. I also learned a lot about myself during this trip that i will most luckily share in another post.
