#WCW With A Twist

It was important for me to work this feature into my weekly content lineup. Women rarely salute one another even though many of us have similar goals. It’s important for us to respect, support and highlight one another because if we don’t, we send the message that others don’t have to either and I, for one, don’t want to perpetuate the current state of women vs. women.

Meet Jess and Renee! Two lifestyle bloggers who are currently on the Travel Love Grow Brunch Tour here, in the U.S. and have partnered with Bumble and Bumble and Covergirl to produce small brunches in some pretty big cities (click here to buy tickets:http://bit.ly/2e97TPj ). I was fortunate enough to catch up with them this past weekend in Atlanta. Long story short, they were on my flight and ended up in the same hotel as me, on the same floor. It was curls at first sight! We ended up spending a decent amount of time together – drinking coffee, catching up on work, sharing beauty tips (it was only right), and discussing career goals. For me this meeting was important because although there are a lot of successful women out there, there aren’t many that are self-made entrepreneurs. It’s important for me to surround my myself with more women like these two because not only do they motivate me, but we all share similar passions. Besides, who wants to sit and talk beauty and travel with me all day?! Okurrr!
