My #BETExperience is def one for the books. I played a 2 hour set
prior to the show in the Cover Girl Beauty area near where the fashion show was taking place (not sure how some girls can pull off the pain of wearing heels for that long). Some designers that were featured were Ese Azenabor, Roper, Andrew Nowell, and my favorite line of the night, Korto Momolu.
The photographers from Getty Images came over to me and said I
was one of the people on her list to capture photos of. It damn near turned into a photo shoot. @VisualsbyPierre also came through and took the photos you guys are looking at now of me.
After a long day of DJing, photos and running around, I took Pierre
to my favorite sushi spot in LA, SUGAR FISH! My SnapChat followers know wassup! (PS- as much as I eat sushi, I still can’t properly use chopstick, Pierre loved it.)
I decided to stay in from the show to get ready to fly to NOLA
for Essence Fest. But I did watch some of the highlights. I think Tracee Ellis Ross looked great! She is curly hair goals. I was so pissed I missed Beyonce. I literally would have went just for her, but she ended up being a surprise performance. I loved her
performance with Kendrick!
Stay tuned for my recap of Essence
