Another day means another sorry lame excuse not to workout. I had to put an end to it. I honestly got to the point where i hated looking at myself in the mirror, and i was the one to blame. At first i wanted to loose weight for all the wrong reasons. Ya know trying to fit the norm, but in actuality there is no norm. You are who are meant to be, and being skinny or thin doesn’t always equate to being healthy or in shape.
Every other couple of months i go through these random workout spurts, where i have the urge to workout everyday for about a month in a half, and then some sort of abstraction arises throwing me off track. I’m not going to lie its usually me traveling that messes up my routine and diet, but that excuse will no longer suffice. I’m #OutofExcuses ya’ll!
The #OutofExcuses hashtag is a movement me and my friend Matt came up with to stay motivated on this journey. It’s also a movement thats meant to motivate our friends who are on the same mission which is to be healthy and get in shape. I’m an instant gratification type of person, but i’m realizing this change doesn’t just happen over night, and its going to take a lot of work to see the results I want. It’s more of a commitment, a lifetime commitment. I’m on my way to where i want to be, I’ve already eliminated certain foods from my diet, and i even cut back on drinking. I’m a girl with a plan, and its hard but i keep reminding myself that its all a mental thing.
With that being said i decided to start training with my friend Gloves. He’s a busy man, but he finds time to workout wherever he can, and i really admire that. It’s true your health is your wealth, and I’m trying to live forever! Check out our workout below.
Look I’m not saying surrender all your happy foods and eat grass. All i’m saying is be more mindful of the things you consume and stay active!
